Need advice about stripped screw inside laptop

i am in desperate need to clean my fan. i have one stingy screw that won't come out. it is located under the hinge cover. on the upper right side. it is a grounding screw that is connected by wire to some doohickey that plugs in near it. (forgive me, i know computers, i just don't know what it's called) anywho, i really have to get this tiny little screw out to undo my cover so i can properly get at the fan.  why the heck doesn't this computer have a flap on the back by the fan that you can unscrew???

You can buy a screwdriver that can be used to remove that screw at Sears hardware. I hope you did not strip the screw head already to try to remove the screw without the proper tool.  Anyway, you'll need most likely need a 00 Phillips screwdriver.

When you have your laptop open be sure, you practice good ESD procedure or you can easily zap the sensitive electronic components.
