New GeForce card ..

Looking for a vid card to work in my XPS M1730 .. The one I have now is a 8800GS .. Will any vid card work in this unit .. ?? .. wanting to pick up a cheapo for now just to get it going .. Was also wondering about the keyboard .. I don't have a clip on the Mother Board for the ribbon to snap in .. It just pushes in very little .. It works .. but was just wondering ..
