New folder Option
I have a Dell Inspirion 1624 and i am unable to make a new folder on anything not even on desktop, the option to a new folder is at the top of my document but when i click it then nothing happens, i then right click on select new for which there is no folder option
Please Help??!!!

Has this always been the case, or is something that has recently happened? I experienced this the other day after I'd been changing some security permissions. Does this happen when you log in as an Administrator?

Hi m_246,
I would suggest you to try to Create a new user account and check if the issue persists. The link is for Windows 7 operating system. Let me know if you are using a different OS.

Thanks, I have sorted it now. It just happened recently. I used the guidance from the following website
