No Audio Output Device is installed - alternate messages about device plugged/unplugged in audio jack

XPS 13 9333 late 2013.  Audio was working ok but has developed a problem.  I've tried reinstalling drivers/recovery etc.  Suspect this is a problem with the audio jack thereby turning off laptop audio?  Any assistance appreciated.

I've done the suggested speaker tests (working) and therefore looks like this is a Audio Jack Sense Pin problem.  The machine is still under warranty so presumably Dell will fix?  Best contact for this? - I'm in the UK.

I am having the same issue with my Inspiron 13 2-in-1. Annoying issue!

Were you able to get your's fixed? I have 15 days left on my warranty.

Yes - they changed motherboard first but that wasn't the problem.  It is the daughterboard which needs to be replaced - this contains the audio jack input.  Sound has been perfect since this was replaced.
