Power issues on dell latitude E6410
I've read about the issues that commonly occur but my issue seems to be a little different.
Battery won't charge. Laptop won't function with just power cord. I just bought a dell dock which came with a new ac adapter....it won't charge the battery or let me use my laptop without the battery. I tried the new ac adapter plugged directly into the computer instead of the dock, that didn't work either.

Hi,
Welcome to the Community. Check if the AC adapter is getting detected in the Bios. Press the F2 key at the Dell Logo to enter the Bios. If you have already tried 2 power cords, then it could be an issue with the motherboard.
