Check the Display Settings interface where you would go to change resolution and such. Is the second external display detected and simply set to disabled? If so, you should be able to enable it there, though you may first have to disable the built-in panel. I can’t remember how many simultaneous displays that model supports.
Yes I did and the second monitor was not detected. When I used the E-Port's VGA output to the second monitor it came on line and of course is detectable in the display configuration screen. So, I have a work around for my needs. I tried different cables in port II and that didn't help. Just wish there was a diagnostic I could run to confirm it really is dead.
