Problem with Dell Inspiron 15R SE 7520 (Special Edition)

Hi all, new to the forum - please excuse me if my question is not clear.  I bought a brand new

Dell Inspiron 15R SE 7520 (Special Edition)

several months ago.  Just recently, I bought a new hard drive. Took out the old HDD and installed new.  I did a fresh install of Win8 on the new HDD; then upgraded Win8 to Win8.1.

I've installed all the device drivers but there's a strange problem with the display.  The screen resolution is at 1920x1080 which is exactly what it should be.  All the fonts and pictures look great.  But I noticed that whenever I install a new program or open up the device manager, the fonts look really blurry.  Click on the link for the screenshot that I uploaded.  You'll see the fuzzy (very blurry) font I'm referring to.

What's the magic solution here?

Hi TonyinTexas,

The pictures uploaded by you look correct and are not blurry. I would suggest you to connect an external display to the system and check if you face the same issue.

Seriously, you didn't look closely enough.  Did you bother to click on the image for the full sized picture?  The font in the device manager as well as the font in the installer (VLC media plyaer) look very blurry.  If you really believe they look fine to you, I think you should get your eyes checked.  I've been using Windows for a long time, I've never seen the device manager look so blurry in my life.
