Radeon 7500/ Doom3/ DX9b
Hi
I'm using the latest video drivers Dell provides for Radeon 7500 Mobile video card but games that requires full DX9b support won't work, including doom3 ;(.
I guess Dell drivers has no support for DX9?
Must I now stop playing games(!) or have anybody solution to this problem?

It's time to face reality and realize that the M 7500 is a very old video card. I think it has hardware support for dx7.
I can get mine to run most dx8 games with a minimum of problems. Most dx9 games will likely not even load. This is not a driver issue, this is a hardware issue.
You could try upgrading to the m9, which i think offers dx8 support. It might let you play more games (not sure about doom3) in low resolution.

Funny that dx8.1 games still works fine with 7500.
Seems that radeon 9000 is one choice but that supports only dx8.1.
There is no graphic cards suitable for i8100 that supports dx9?
