Repartition C: of my 1TB disk
Hi
I just have received my new Inspiron 15 5559 laptop.
It comes with a 1TB drive with some recovery and System partitions and a single big NTFS partition for C: (Windows 10).
I would like to resize the C: partition to 128GB maximum but the disk management shrink option only allows me to shrink 450GB more or less...
My plan is to defrag C: and try again. If that does not work, use a 3rd party tool to resize the partition.
Taking into account that can be dangerous:
1- In case this process damages the C: partition, could I use the recovery partition to set the laptop as it came from Factory?
2- Is it neccesary to perform a previous step?
3- In case i get the partition correctly partitioned to 128GB, could I still use the recovery partition to set the laptop as it came from Factory but with the new partition configuration?
4- Please, any advises or steps I should do on this procedure?

There is a great limitation of the system's built-in disk management tool in shrinking Windows partition and you could try to use third-party tools to solve the issue. But you'd better to back up the data before shrinking. You can follow the detailed steps to do that.
