Replacement LCD Screen for Studio XPS 16 1645
I own a studio xps 16 - 1645 2009 model. the screen resolution of the same was 1920 x 1080.
unfortunately yesterday my laptop had an accident and the lcd screen was damaged.
I need to replace the LCD screen with this same resolution or better LCD screen. However, dell india or the local service center doesnot have the original part no. B156HW01 V.1 having the specifications WUXGA 1920 X 1080 FULL HD 15.6" screen.
can someone please suggest me an alternative for the above lcd having same or better resolution which is compatible with my system?

That is the Dell part number for an FHD screen for your system:

Search for Dell part number 8G51N. That resolution is as high as you'll get for a 15.x " screen.

thanks for the earlier reply...
I tried looking for the suggested part number with dell service and local dealers but i am not able to find it in india. Ordering from outside india is not a viable option for me, so can you suggest me a compatible led screen from some different company which can be used as replacement with same specs.

These are sold as complete assemblies, so you need the original part. There are some on EBay -- and some sellers may be willing to ship to India.
