Sata connector broken xps m1730

Hi,
i have a xps m1730, but i don't have the little black plastic on the white plastic (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Dell-XPS-M1730-HDD-connector-/271047321162?pt=US_Laptop_Screens_LCD_Panels&hash=item3f1bade64a&_uhb=1) there is a picture right on the motherboard.

I would like to know if i can buy it or if i can repair it, i don't want to pay $400 for a motherboard and i don't care to try something, but i don't know what can i do.

Thanks

Alright, without the locking connector, i can't do something right ?

Easy or no to remove the locking connector from a board ?

If it's the latch on the ZIF connector, it's likely not sold as a separate part - see if you can find someone selling an otherwise dead M1730 board on EBay so you can salvage the locking connector.

Is the connector simply missing, or do you know that it was broken off?
