Some issues with a D630 please help

Hello,

i really hope someone can help me. I have purcahsed a used Dell D630 laptop. The seller did not have the software or anything for it so i am a bit stuck now.

I have installed the drivers i was able to find on the dell HP (vista 64). I have installed also the fingerprint reader driver but how do i use or configure it?

There is a slot on the bottom under the battery, looks like it is for a sim card? What is that for?

Thanks to everyone who helps!

If the driver and software are loaded, run them - you can then enroll a finger print.

The SIM socket is used in conjunction with a WWAN card for (in the US) AT&T Wireless.  In other countries, you need a WWAN card for your particular service provider - the SIM alone is useless.

That seems to be the problem. After looking for an answer i have figured out that there is no 64 bit software yet:( Will have to downgrade to 32bit again
