Text jumps to random spot on the page while typing
This may be a windows problem but when it happened to my last computer it was the beginning of the end. I will be typing and then the text will jump to some random place on the page. So far it has done it with my e-mail program and my web editing program.
It may be related but just before this started happening I was receiving an error message that one of the files in my fingerprint indentity program was missing. I never used the program and so I got rid of it. Then I got a message about another file in another unused program being corrupt. I rebooted and the messages went away. But the keyboard problem persisted.
I have a M1530 running Windows Vista. But my previous computer was a Sony Vaio running XP.

Let me add this to the issues....
Still getting a corrupt file message for another never used program.
Tried to do a disk-defrag and got the message that I needed to defrag but never got the option to be able to do it. I click defrag now-I get the choices of drives-it analyzes and then tells me to defrag and I am back where I started from. Makes me think something is seriously wrong.
