To all those waiting on xps1530 mine shipped friday 6/27

well hope in sight mine shipped fri should be here tues 7/1 had a shipping date of 8/6. ill keep everone posted

When did you order it?   Your configuration is exactly like mine.  I ordered mine in June 20th.

Wow... I ordered about the same spec xps m1530 as you and the shipping time was suppose to be at July but after i clicked on summit on order the est shipping time changed to 8/7... i was seriously confused. Dell usually only takes around less then a week before shipping, since ive purchased few of their dell computers from the main site in the past. Hope mine gets ship as early as yours since im in need of it asap.

Ordered mine on the 10 of June , was to ship 6/25/08  (delayed to 7/01/08)

Checked status today  [ 6/28/08 ] SHIPPED /Delivery due 7/02/08

Received 7/01/08

 

Sounds like they must of got in the components they were lacking to get these systems out

Basically the same spec's as bikerboy's

Kind of bummed out. Ordered mine of the 11th, my ship date was extended, still shows in production, estimated ship date of 7/7/08. The fact that someone who ordered theirs on the 23rd is getting it before me seems unfair.

Whilst it may seem somewhat unfair at first glance... shipping dates depend on a number of factors.

Two of the more important ones are where in the world you are, and the specifications you've chosen ;)

I have the exact configuration as him but i ordered mine on 6/24 and yet its still in the building stage.  sigh..
