Virtualization Enable in Inspiron 1440, Core 2 Dua, T6600 Processor
Is it possible to enable the Virtaulization in Inspiron 1440, Core 2 Dua, T6600 Processor.
As I dont see the any option to enable the same. I am in need to run the VM Ware Workstation on my laptop, but it doesn't start(blinks and close).
If its not feasible to enable virtualization is there any alternative, or may be any processor I can upgrade to , inorder to get this feature.
Please suggest.
PS : I need to run Cloudera CDH 5.8 Big data (I have already upgraded my RAM to 8 GB).

That CPU does not support VT-x -- you'd need to replace the CPU. Something like a P8800 will work and support VT-X.
That said, you're probably better off replacing the system - this is old enough that it's not going to be a great performer with VMWare virtualization.
