Vista SP1 and Canon s300 Inkjet Printer
Ok I need help! So I have a Dell Inspiron 15 working on Vista SP1 and I also have a Canon s300 Inkjet printer. This printer worked well on my home computer using windows XP, then I took it to college and got the dell Insprion 15 laptop and now I can not get the computer and the printer to work together. It says that it does not work with Vista. I have uninstalled the printer and downloaded the drivers and it still does not work. Can someone please help me because I don't want to have to buy a whole new printer.

Canon says the printer is compatible with Windows 7 -- but it may not be with the 64-bit version. If it's not, and that's what you have, you need a new printer.
