Vostro 1400 Pros & Cons

Hi all,

 

I've customised to Vostro 1400 to suit my specification online, and from first impressions (reviews, forum talk) it seems like a good machine.  Still, it would help a lot to have some of the owners of the machine point out all of its faults (and good bits hopefully).  So, if any of you could post something along the lines of a short review for me I would be eternally greatfull!!

P.S. What i'm looking for is a measure of battery life, heat output because you could fry an egg on the bottom of my old laptop, graphics, cpu performance etc.
