Hi alexander_sirakov,

The hard drive in Vostro 3560 is SATA 2. Changing the mSATA hard drive in your laptop will not void the warranty. However the mSATA hard drive which you replace in the laptop will not be covered under warranty

Thanks. I can see clearly that my HDD is SATA 2 but waht about the sata connection to to motherboard- is it SATA 3 with a SATA 2 HDD or it is just SATA 2 with SATA 2 HDD. I'm wondering because I want to swap the HDD with a 2.5'' SSD and if the connection is SATA 2 I won't be able to max out its capabilities due to bandwidth restrictions.

Hi alexander_sirakov,

I am sorry for the delayed response; the connection on the motherboard is SATA 2 to SATA 2 HDD.
