WD15 front combo jack - mic not detected
Hi all.
I have a dell XPS13 9360 (Windows 10) and a WD15 dock.
the combo jack in front of the WD15 works fine for audio (2 headset tested) but the microphone is not detected.
when I plug in the combo jack of the XPS 13, no issue, mic is detected.
on sound control panel I can see the mic on recording devices (realtek usb audio) but when I plug the jack it's still not connected.
I have the lastest bios / audio drivers / maxx audio soft.
If someone have a solution !

There isn't a combo port on the WD15 Dock. It is a headset port and not a combo headset/mic port.

Check the tech specs page as it says it has a combo port.

Yes, and Jesse's statement that "It is a headset port and not a combo headset/mic port" is doubly confusing because a "headset port" and a "combo port" are the same thing. That's because a "headset" is a combination of headphones and a microphone.
