I cannot play online games on my new inspiron because every time i use the arrow keys the screen moves, so do you guys know where the scroll lock key is on the laptop or how to stop this from happening
Solved! Go to Solution.
Try Microsofts "On Screen keyboard" utility
1.Click the START button
2.Type osk (make sure that osk.exe is high lighted if you get more than one option)
5.Be happy if it works..............
You can also remap a key to emulate the Scroll Lock.
You can get more information on this here.

Bay Wolf - Thanks for the link.In addition to your suggested program there is also another nice program available that does the same job as yours but it has a big advantage: It is portable - no installation and no .NET required.Additionally it comes with a nice keyboard interface that lets the user very comfortable remap the keys.
The name of the program : KeyTweak
There are lots of download links I just picked one of them
A far better and more "complicated" solution would be to use AutoHotkey - which does not require Windows to reboot,
but in case of max0073 above mentioned programs should be sufficient.
To toggle Scroll Lock, try using: Fn+S
This works on my Inspiron 15 (5570). It is mentioned in the setup guide found here:
