Why does my laptop attract metal?
I purchased a laptop Dell Vostro 3460 about a month ago. It has been working fine, but today I discovered that it causes a magnetic field and attracts metallic objects.
Is that normal and may it cause any problems?

Hi huynhlv54,
The system speakers are present in these places. Speakers contain magnets in order to make it work so this has a tendency to attract metallic objects. However there is nothing to worry about it as it is absolutely safe.

I've attached an image showing the parts that are magnetized.
Maybe it is to keep the lid closed? If so, I would have worried too much :emotion-10:.
