Sounds like the SSD is corrupted or failing.

The Inspiron 910 / Mini 9  will boot from the SD slot  Press 0 on the keyboard for boot menu

or F2 and setup the SD to be bootable if you make a Bootable SD using a usb flash SD Reader

and 8 gig to 32 gig SD chip.    The Drive can be replaced.  Its a PATA  50mm mini pci SSD.

The SSD has failed - it will need to be replaced.

It's not a hard drive - it's a mini-SSD.

Thanks for reply, in the setup utility, under Boot, I have Hard drive - USB Storage - CD/DVD/CD-RW - Removable Devices and Network Boot. Tried all of them and could not access any of them.

So I need a USB Flash drive and a SD Card and then a new hard drive?

The complete message, sorry should have said before is

The SD Reader and SD Card are so you can make a bootable SD with Linux on it.

The SSD must be replaced.
