Windows 10 support for DELL XPS 15z
Hi Team,
I own DELL XPS 15z and I am very happy with its performance till date. I am usually a fan of upgrades and updates and excited to install Windows 10 on my laptop.
I read that DELL is not providing driver or anyother software support for XPS 15z versions.
Could you please confirm if this decision will be reconsidered for the users owning XPS 15z laptops and provide your support for these laptops also?

Hi Murthy,
Dell XPS 15z has not been tested for Windows 10 operating system. You will need to download the Windows 7 drivers and install it on compatibility mode.

Thanks for the reply.
Could you please confirm how does it affect the performance of the system installing windows 7 drivers on Windows 10 OS?
Also, is there any possibility that Windows 10 drivers for XPS 15z would be released by DELL in near future? In such scenario, I will be happy to wait till that time.

Hi Murthy,
Currently this particular system has not been tested for Windows 10. If Dell tests this model for Windows 10 you will find the drivers listed under the model.
Your system will get only generic native drivers for some hardware from the Windows 10 operating system. If you need specific designed driver for some hardware’s on the computer you will need to install Windows 7 driver in compatibility mode.
