Windows Boot Manager
When I turn my laptop on it says:
Windows Boot Manager
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.....it says to install my windows installation disc but I've lost this...tear.
Can I fix it myself without?

Hi,
Welcome to the Community. I suggest you first to run a diagnostics on your hard drive. Press the F2 key at the Dell logo on startup, select diagnostics, and run an extended diagnostics on your hard driver. Post back with any error codes. If the hard drive test passes, then you can try and do a PC restore, which will restore your computer back to factory settings ( Note: All Data will be Lost ). Below is the link on how to restore your computer.

If you are in the US and looking for the windows Disc use the below link to request for one. If PC restore does not work you will need to reinstall windows using the windows disc.

Thank you
