Wireless connection Problem with repeater; Vostro 1510 and D-Link EAP-1360

Vostro 1510 with Dell (Broadcom) 1505 n card will not communicate with D-link EAP 1360 configured as repeater on wireless network. Shows connection with strong signal, DNS address acquired, etc., but will not communicate. NOTE: Dell Mini 10 works fine as do iPhones and iPad. Main router is D-link DIR-655. Vostro was connected fine to that unit. Suspect problem is that Wireless utility detects 2 similar SSID???

Have uninstalled wireless card and reinstalled then configured only the repeater signal.  same result.  Setting issue?? Note that other clients work fine.
