Thank you for the help. I have downloaded previously via the Media Creation Tool and run the install but it also failed. I don't have the product key for existing Windows 8.1 as it never came with the computer to do a clean install. Can I request this from vendor or Microsoft?
Hi, I'm having the same issues ie unable to upgrade.
Computer configure is 8 RAM/512 SSD, i7 processor, XPS 13

Mine has now been sorted. The issue is with the SK Hynix SSD firmware. I tried to upgrade mine but could not, so Dell UK tech support did a remote session with my computer, sorted the firmware and installed my Windows 10, all working properly now.
All sorted too and W10 installed all ok in less than 2 hours.
I was sent a link to the firmware upgrade for the ssd.
