XPS 13 9350 - RN4DFA00_W10x64ROW_core(DL)_v2.iso download not working correctly

Hi,

I tried to download the .iso image to create a recovery medium. Download starts all the time but stops at 1.01 GB and is not downloading the whole file which 7.3 GB.

Creating a rescue medium is NOT an option, I want the iso on an optical medium.

Any ideas?

Thanks

If you have windows 10 already, make a system image to store on external hard drive and make repair boot disk or thumb drive to access the image when you cannot boot the computer. Open File History to make the system image. That will include everything on the hard drive--win 10 and all your programs and files. Backups and copies of personal files should always be made along with the system image.

To make a windows 10 installation dvd, download the Create Media Tool . Run the tool and select for another computer when starting the process.  Follow the instructions. The iso file must be burned to bootable media, not stored on disk.

Listen, I want the .iso image to restore the machine like out of the box in case I need. I'm aware of all other features.
