XPS 15 (9550) SSD driver

Hi,

Received my 9550 a few days ago and noticed the SSD is using the Intel Raid driver (iaStorA.sys) and not the Samsung NVMe driver. Benchmarking the drive gives it particularly bad write performance (AS SSD benchmanrk for example).

Tried to install the Samsung NVMe driver without success (drive not visible as hidden behind the RAID driver). Side effect also drive not visible to Samsung Magician software (firmware update etc...).

What is the procedure to install the correct driver (even if it includes reinstalling Windows - better to do it before I got lots loaded on...).

Thanks,

Stephane

I was looking for this myself the other day, and forget where, but I stumbled across something saying the Samsung PM951 SSD is OEM only, thus won't be supported by the Samsung Magician software. Also could not locate a driver for it.

I know this drive only works correctly in RAID mode on these notebooks, gives issues if it is in AHCI mode.
