XPS 1647 loose enter key
I have a XPS laptop that is about 3 weeks old now and have noticed that the enter key is a little loose.
The top halve can slide left and right to the point thats its resting against they keys on either side.
Just wanted to know if this was normal or should i phone up Dell for a replacement?
many thanks

Well Dell wanted to collect the laptop as my warrenty is collect and repair however, as a good will gesture they sent out an enginear.
The poor guy has to strip half the laptop down just to get to the keyboard.
Unfortunatly once the job wsa done and he left i have only just noticed that the thin silver trim that runs along the bottom edge of the palm rest is now warped.
I can press it down and it stays in place for about 5 mins but then slowly rises again.
When turning the laptop on its side (screen closed and tilting up so resting on the battery) it looks like a small rise.
Like when you take paper and slowly push it from both ends. that kind of arc.
Now do i bother sending dell my laptop so they can glue it back and risk getting dents, scratches or something else wrong
or should i just use a paper clip and some super glue my self?
I might go as far as to upgrade my warrenty so an engineer always comes out and im not without a laptop for 2 weeks.
£1400 on a laptop and im not sure if it was well spent lol
