XPS L501X - Audio thrugh HDMI not working
Hi to everybody.
I came from the XPS m1530 and on that one i could send to the tv the audio thrugh the HDMI cable as well as the video. Now on the L501X seems impossible....
With default drivers I had totally no High Definition Audio available (the video card hdmi audio drivers). so i:
1) updated audio and video drivers from dell website to last versions
2) update bios too
3) used three different HDMI cables of different qualities
Nothing. I have the High Definition Audio available in the Audio Playback devices but is always showing "disconnected" and never selectable as default audio channel.
Anyone has an idea on how to proceed?

I can only read in English so I don't understand all of the screen shots, but it looks like you have 2 video devices. Is that right? Someone with a Vostro model that has 2 graphics cards wrote in to say that only the nVidia one has HDMI audio. He said the nVidia would only work when he was plugged into ac power until he made a change in his power options.
