alienware 15r2 usb audio w/ graphics amplifier not working

Hello,

For the last month or so (can't recall exactly when it started), anytime I attempt to use either my Logitech G930 headset or my Soundblaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro audio devices which are both USB, the USB port it is plugged into resets. It isn't the device resetting, but the actual USB port itself on the computer. This only occurs when the 15r2 is plugged into the graphics amplifier (w/ evga GTC 780 Ti). It doesn't matter if the audio device is plugged into a USB hub off the graphics amplifier, or if it is plugged directly into the laptop.

If I unplug the graphics amplifier and then plug in the USB audio device, it works just fine. But then plugging back into the graphics amplifier and I start seeing the problem again. This just started happening about a month ago. I had been running happily like this since I got the laptop over a year ago. The only thing that might have been done recently was software updates. I am running Win 10 x64 with all the latest updates installed. I have gone through and updated the BIOS and all drivers for the chipset, audio devices, mobo, graphics cards.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello. Try posting on the Alienware board . Maybe someone there is familiar with that issue.
