bluetooth keyboard wont connect on m2010

i have an xps m2010 and the keyboard wont connect. i got the mouse connected by using the mouse connect wizard. i try to connect the keyboard by pressing the bluetooth buttons on the keyboard and computer but when i push the bluetooth button on the keyboard the the buetooth light on the computer stops blinking. and when i try to add a device in the bluetooth manager it says bluetooth not ready. i downloaded the newest driver and it didnt help. someone please help
