dell xps 15z power problem
I have a dell XPS 15z and it would not power up. (It is out of warranty.) I remove the battery and plugged in the laptop directly to AC and it is working. Replacing the battery did not work. I am wondering what is the cause of this problem and whether I can fix it by replacing a part. Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi,
Welcome to Dell Community Forum.
Since you are able to power up the computer with the AC adapter and you have already replaced the battery with no positive results, the issue could be with the motherboard on your computer. Your computer being out-of-warranty, you may contact the Out-of-Warranty Dell Technical Support Department for assistance with replacing the motherboard. This is a Paid Support.
Please click on the link below for details of the Out-Of-Warranty Dell Technical Support Department. This is applicable for the U.S.A. only.
