does inspiron 7520 has backlit keyboards as my laptop does not have...it is Dell Inspiron 15R SE (7520) with i5 and 2GB 7730m dedeicated graphics card.
The Inspiron 15R SE 7520 has a backlit keyboard; you can follow the steps below to switch on the backlit keyboard.
Press < Fn >< F6 > once to turn on the keyboard back light. Press < Fn >< F6 > second time to decrease the brightness of the keyboard back light and pressing < Fn >< F6 > for the third time turns off the keyboard back light. After doing the above steps and still the backlit keyboard is not on, I would also request you to send a private message with your system service tag, as I need to check a few more details about the computer.
