Will a Latitude e6520 run an i7-2860QM Processor? It presently runs an i7-2620M. Anyone tried it?

It's unlikely - the system never shipped with a quad CPU, and you'd be replacing a 35W CPU with a 45W -- the system isn't designed to cope with that level of power requirement (read: heat dissipation).

I under stand e6520's also came out with i7-2760QM thus my question about the other i7 cpu
