error message undocking Inspiron 4150 on 7345U port replicator

Question

I can not undock my laptop because I get an error message telling me that my LPT 1 port is bussy by an program.I have checked that there are no programs running.I have also restartet the laptop.

why you don't try shutting down the computer and then undocking the laptop. then turn on the laptop log in with your user name. then follow this steps hopefully will work.   right click on my computer icon>properties>hardware>hardware profile    then select docked profile and then click delete. shut down your computer and dock the laptop. turn on and windows will create a new profile for you you will not notice that if that doesn't work then we will see what else we can do. but there are more things to try.

I found out myself what whas the problem.I had earlier installed a mustek scanner on my laptop.That whas before I bought my port replicator.When I uninstald the scanner then I could undock normaly.I will now try to install the scanner when I am docked,and se how that will work.
