inspiron b130 increase video memory

i have an inspiron b130. it came with 256mb of ram, i just put a 1gb stick in also, so now it has 1.24gb. i would like to increase the amount of memory dedicated to video from 8mb, to 128mb. how would i do this? after talking with dell support, they tell me the memory for this notebook is not shared. i do not believe this to be true. on this page, it says that for the inspiron b130
" 6 Up to 128 MB of shared system memory may be allocated to support graphics, depending on system memory size and other factors."

i have checked the bios, and display properties, and can not figure it out. please, please help.

The 8M is a buffer, not the video RAM. The system will allocate up to 128M for video, as needed; you cannot manually alter the allocation.

I am having the same problem However I have found that the system does not allocate memory as needed upto 128M. So what do you have to say about that.

I also thought the same thing after i purchased the B130. Unfortunately I haven't found a way to manually change the shared memory, so i guess it is just done automatically as needed. But i'm also having the same problem. It does not seem to be changing the amount of memory very well, if at all. I hope there is a way to fix this cause it is aggravating.
