keyboard and mouse freeze during css and cod4

Question

hi guys, hope your all well.

i am having a problem during game play with my usb keyboard and mouse and the build in keyboard and touch pad on my laptop.

i lags, odd to say i know but in game play my ping is fine my system/connects is not lagging but my keyboard and mouse is. i can see thats every1 else is still playing and running around but my keyboard and mouse jsut stops working then after 30seconds or so start working again then freeze etc etc.

i have uninstalled all the drivers assiated with these and reinstalled and no difference, run scan after scan and found no problems and i have now hit a dead end i cant find anything wrong.

anybody got any ideas??

sys spec : m1710 2.33ghz duel

4gb ram

512 gfx

issues happens on:

usb keyboard and mouse

and

build keyboard and touchpad

I have the exact same problem with my m1530, been looking for a way to fix it for a while but still no luck. And playing any Fps any stall is very frustrating :smileysad: If i figure anything out tho i'll let ya know.

Are all your drivers up-to-date, and are you shutting down all programs/background processes before gaming? It sounds like something is still running (AV maybe?), and possibly checking for updates?

as far as i know all my driviers are up to date and all updates are current.

the only thing i can think of is that it could be in relation to vista sp1 thats has come out as far as i can remeber they where working fine before that went on the machine. but then surely if there was something in sp1 every1 would have the problem :S
