Question

I have a D510 Laptop with a 6y270 battery in it. I need to know what the difference in it and the 1295. Also which is the best battery to use in my laptop. I need longer battery life. Thanks

6y270 is a 14.8 v battery 4 Cell 32 Watt hour battery   The longest lasting model battery Dell made for that system is the 11.1 v , 6 Cell 53 watt hour battery   C2451 or 4M010 are 2 of the part numbers   you can also get a D-Bay battery 0M787 6 Cell 48 watt hour that replaces the optical drive in the D-Bay for longer battery run time (Using 2 batteries)   DELL C1295 Li-Ion Battery
