m300 and m600 mediabase question
I'm looking for a more portable laptop than my inspiron 7000 (affectionately refered to as "backbreaker")
(Dell must come up with the model number from its weight!)
I've been looking at the m300 and m600. The website says " For an enhanced set of system features, dock the 300m on the optional MediaBase for subwoofer-powered audio, extended battery life with space for a second system battery, and easy access to internal optical drives. "
Does anyone know if this "docking" means that I can carry around the ultra light laptop, and then bring it home and plug it into the media deely-bob? I'll never make it thru grad school with this inspiron! (well...not without looking a bit more quasi-modo than when I went in!) The info sounds as if it's something we can hook up ourselves and dock at will?
Help!
thanks in advance!

A Docking Station allows you to have the light and portable system that you want and then when you get how you dock it and it gives you all the usability of a desktop system.
Thank you for choosing Dell.
