possible to set up RAID0 after OS install without need for OS reinstall?
Hi I own a precision M6400 laptop. I have an SSD OCZ vertex 4 256GB installed running windows 8.1. I want to buy another and install it in the second drive bay and set up RAID 0 only if I am able to do this without a complete OS and applications reinstall. Is this possible? cheers Angus

It will depend on the type of OS install you have -- if it's installed with UEFI/secure boot turned on, no - you can't.
If it's installed in MBR mode, you may be able to make an image of the OS, then build the array and restore the image. You'll need an imaging utility such as TrueImage (not the free version) for this, though.
