power adapter LED indicator light turns off after plugging in to laptop (inspiron 5523)
I have an Inspiron 5523, and it was running fine, until earlier today. I went to plug the thing in to charge, and it would not charge. Instead, the light on the power adapter brick shut off, or would flicker. This happened with 2 charge cables. Am i looking at a dead motherboard, or something else?

If the adapter light cuts off when connected to machine, we are looking at a dead motherboard.
Do let us know if the system is under warranty, we will get it repaired.

Thanks for the response. Seems a little pushy to ask people to respond after asking a question, doesn't it?
AAR, this product is out of warranty. I purchased a replacement board through a 3rd party, and intend to do the repair work myself. Thank you for the information
