realtek maxx audio 4 vostro 2521
Hello,
I have a vostro 2521, I bought it with ubuntu, then I repartitioned my hard disk and installed win 7 pro 64-bit, i used maxx audio 4, but after i did a new installation I have no maxx audio anymore, i just have realtek hd audio. The new system is also win 7 pro 64-bit and I use the same drivers from http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/fr/fr/04/Product/vostro-2521 and ftp://ftp.dell.com/Pages/Drivers/vostro-2521.html .
Please, can someone helps me in this problem? Where can i download the required software/driver for Maxx Audio. Please let me know as soon as possible.

Hi bnour,
If the Max audio is not working, please update the audio driver from the link given below:
http://dell.to/1b5OSGS
Max audio is a part of audio driver. Revert for further queries.

Hello. Try this audio driver, Realtek 6.0.1.6741,A02. It is the older version of the one that failed. It is just a few weeks older. Before installing it, remove your current Realtek driver from the computer. Go to Control Panel>View by Category>Uninstall a Program, and select your current Realtek driver. After you remove it and reboot the laptop then try to install the other driver.
If that installation attempt also fails, review the order of installation and verify that you installed the Intel Chipset driver software after installing Windows 7.
