vostro 3750 keyboard gone ballistic, help please

Hello peeps, 

I'm hoping that someone in the big wide world might be able to help me with my problem as dell so clearly can't, phone line shut, not taking emails and no chat available. That is the most incredible technical support I've ever come across. Sorry rant over.

Issue: My keyboard started not typing on a few keys, and then responded to fewer and fewer, then it went beserk typing all by itself and a pattern emerged which amongst thousands of other characters "43poiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii and so on. I know it's not that I have got a jam as I have also tried to put in a external keyboard which doesn't work either,  I've turned it off, unplugged everything and taken off battery, pressed the power switch for 30 sec to wipe whatever it does that the technician told me last time i had issues, still no joy. 

Please tell me what to do, I have to write a proposal tonight for tomorrow morning and it is worth a lot to my company. I know dell doesn't care but I'm hoping someone who knows dell laptops might care enough to help me, thank you x x x x
