Dell Inspiron 15R SE (7520) Webcam
Can anyone tell me if there is any suitable software that will give me better functionality to the integrated webcam on my Inspiron 15R SE (7520). I have Windows 8 Pro installed and the only option in using the webcam as far as I can see is by using the camera tile on the Windows 8 Metro Screen. Someone from Dell Technical Support did install some webcam software when I first brought my laptop but as I have had to reinstall it to factory reset I lost the webcam software and unfortunately I can't remember what the techy guy installed and no-one else I spoke to at Dell has any idea what I am referring too. According to Dell's support webpage it mentions something called Dell's Webcam Central but this isn't installed on my system and according to the website it only refers to it in the sense of Windows 7 and also not the 7520 model. Any suggestions please I will be very grateful.

Try this Webcam Central Software: lt.dell.com/.../lt.aspx
Note:It shows it is for monitor but it works on most of the system models and also in Windows 8.

I also had similar problems with Webcam and this notebook, Dell Inspiron 15R Special Edition 7520.
With Windows 8 could figure out why it does not work this way:
Remove or do not install the audio software available in the Dell website (or drivers CD).
Use the driver that windows identifies himself.
If you have already installed this software, remove the computer (Control Panel \ All Control Panel Items \ Programs and Features), and delete the audio driver from the Device Manager (Control Panel \ All Items Panel control \ Managed Devices) (Mark option to delete driver).
That done, restart your computer.
Windows automatically detects your audio driver and my webcam will function normally again.

You can use the driver that the DELL-Roshan L mentioned, but you should uninstall all USB drivers you have and leave the windows 8 install them for you.
