Dell inspiron n4030 laptop bluetooth not working

I am new to this kind of stuff and am not sure if am posting this at the right place.:emotion-43:  here's my problem:
Allow a device to connect option for bluetooth is greyed out in my brand new dell inspiron n4030 laptop. I am able to pair my bluetooth phone with my laptop. The devices and printers window shows all the bluetooth devices that have been paired with the laptop. But the problem is with the transmission of files.I am unable to send and recieve files since the "Allow a device to connect" option is greyed out.
Operating system is windows7 and the bluetooth drivers are Dell Wireless 365 Bluetooth Module and Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator.
Any help?

First verify that your device and provider support Bluetooth object exchange (OBEX).  Not all providers - or all devices with the same provider - do.

Did you install a Nokia driver on the system?

My friend,

i had the same problem before, the root cause is the Bluetooth Driver R226746 provided on the Dell website is not the latest one. please download the driver R264248. Obviously it will work inshallah. Enjoy!!!

Note: if u have already installed the previous driver R226746, then uninstall it and install R264248.

Hi sathu111,

Bluetooth can be enabled/disabled by using FN+F2.

F2

The Wireless Enable/Disable dialog box appears. Available options are 1. Enable Bluetooth 2. Enable Wireless LAN.

I have also provided a link below to install Bluetooth drivers on the computer:

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/Product/inspiron-14-n4030?driverId=TTW58&osCode=W764&fileId=2939863973

If you still get the error message, kindly send me a screen shot.

Awaiting your response!
