How can I tell which CPU I have without power?
I have a 783KV motherboard and I thought I had a 750MHz CPU, but now in doing the research I see a 650MHz and 850MHz. So now I'm not so sure which one I had. The laptop won't power up and I've already replaced the motherboard with a good one. The lights power up for a couple of seconds but the HD doesn't spin and it powers back off. So I'm going to try the CPU next. My previous thread was removed because it had my service tag. Is this a new policy that I can't post them up or what? Because I've done so before and somebody broke down my hardware profile that way and told me what I had.
If I do in fact have a 750MHz, could I use a 500, 650, and 850 too?
