Inspiron 13 7000, USB3 c connector
April 10th I bought the laptop (Inspiron 13, 7000, ID 00325-96045-31976-AAOEM) and since then I have been trying to find a connector for the USB 3 C to Ethernet, have tried several and none has worked, last one was the Dell DAC 200, now I find that new laptops does not have the USB3 type C, they have the big USB 3, so the complaint and question is if I am going to be able to use the USB3 C outlet or not.
Please provide a solution as I need to be able to connect trough an Ethernet port.
Good to mention that that last June computer stop working and was send for warranty claim and return 2 weeks ago.

The laptop has only one USB3 connector that is why I wanted to use the c connector instead of the regular 3 type

For our notes, which Inspiron 13-7000? (7347, 7348, 7352, 7353, 7359)
The StarTech USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet NIC Network Adapter that ejn63 should work. There are several more here to review.

I am not sure, it is i7 7500 U 2.79 GHz, I am looking to use the USB 3 c port, tried at least 3 different brands even the Del DAC 200 and none worked. Model 17378-4314. I got into a chat in which found this is a common problem with no apparent solution, talking about the c port not the regular USB3.

You have the "Inspiron 13-7378 2-in-1" laptop. The Dell DA200 USB-C to HDMI/VGA/Ethernet/USB 3.0 adapter should have worked on the leftside USB Type-C port. Read through the User's Guide and check the Drivers page.

I really tried making work but could not, first vendor said it was plug and play, latter I tried to download a driver but the process was aborted and finally I found a Compatibility report for the DAC 200 and did not include any Inspiron laptop, that is why I gave up, I just down load the driver that you recommended and apparently I succeed but unfortunately I do not have the DAC any more, but are you sure it works?

If you no longer have the DA200, remove that driver. I would look here and here for a USB-C to Ethernet device.

Any chance you could tell us why the devices are not working? I have a USB C to Ethernet adapter from Dell, a StarTech dock and a TB16 which all work on my XPS 13 9365.
The drivers are important since each device needs a different driver. If you plug an Ethernet adapter into the USB C it will pick a currently installed driver and misidentify your device, so as recommended you need to uninstall other drivers.

Already did that with two different brands before trying the DAC 200, I think something is wrong with the c port as it is not compatible with the ones I tried, that is why I am trying to have a proven solution from Dell.

Up to now what I have found is that your XPS 13 is compatible with many connectors but the Inspiron 13 are not.

I just plugged the device I linked you to and it installed and is working on my Inspiron 17 7779. The device is a USB Ethernet device, just a USB C version.
You can get an adapter to change USB C to USB A so you could run your current dock.
