Inspiron 1750 memory upgrade to 8G
Is it me or is it really as difficult to locate 8G (2 X 4)G DDR2 200 Pin 1.8v DDR2 PC2-6400 SoDimm.
Is it me again or is the memory I want the most expensive in the market.
I would also like any assistance with who makes the memory I require more to the point
I want some choice but know for sure when I buy it that it will be compatible as It looks like
the best part of £160 for the memory alone and I'm after upping the hard drive as well but
that is an altogether much easier and less expensive proposition and task .
Very much appreciate any useful or helpful input people

DDR-2 hasn't been mainstream (used in new systems) in a while - and as is usual for that situation, the cost of it has risen appreciably.
No matter where you buy it, DDR-2 will be 2-3 times the cost of mainstream DDR-3 - and as fewer manufacturers offer it, the price will likely continue to rise.
