Latitude E6420 HDD Connector
Hi,
While replacing the hard drive on my E6420, I tossed the connector along with the old drive and now I am having trouble ordering it. This connector is between the drive and the laptop housing (not the cable connects to the mobo).
I am asking any one who can help in identifying its part number or the name of the part for easy ordering. Again this connector sits at the back of the HDD and connects to the SATA connector in the HDD housing. Greatly appreciate anyone who can help.
Thanks.

It was not the golden connector that I was talking about.
Anyhow, if I think there is a connector between the drive and the housing, I was wrong and there isn't one. I was playing with the caddy earlier to find out it is pushing the drive down instead of up and sit into the housing connection. After some trying, I was able to get the drive to sit properly in the drive bay.
Thank you for the responses and help.

Hi,
The golden connectors are part of HD, not a separate part :(.

Thanks for the quick response. Yes, it is the connector that goes onto the back or the golden connectors.

This should be the part you're looking for.
